Kaitlyn and Mark | July 2018
On July 28, 2018 Kaitlyn walked down the aisle to meet her now-husband, Mark. The two wed at The Cookery in Durham. They exchanged vows and said I do in front of a towering wooden cross which was beautifully decorated with florals by Bloom and Thistle. Kaitlyn wore a stunning ball gown accented with a embellished belt and sweetheart neckline. Her bridesmaids wore floor-length, light-blush gowns of alternating necklines and their hair and makeup was done by Bella Trio. Mark wore a navy suit with a patterned tie, while his groomsmen also wore navy suits, but with solid light-pink ties.
Jordan Mauder Photography photographed this sweet couples day perfectly. Reception tables were dressed in white linens and decorated with greenery, loose florals, candles, and tall floral arrangements. Guests found their seats by finding their name and table number on a rustic, decorated window pane which was accompanied by images of the newlyweds. Kaitlyn and Mark’s cake was a delicious, four-tier wedding cake baked by Simply Cakes. Filled and Flooded added a special touch to their wedding day by designing a chalkboard with the couple’s names, wedding date, and bible verse.
Durham Catering Company prepared and cooked a meal for the couple and their family and friends. After dinner, guests enjoyed music and dancing provided by Damien Maass Video and DJ Services. Damien also captured a heartfelt video of Kaitlyn and Mark’s special day. At the end of the night, Kaitlyn and Mark were sent-off by their guests and they exited by being driven away in a vintage, classic vehicle.
